Thedford Funion Days 2008

Thedford Spirit Club presents Funion Days 2008 Friday August 1, to Sunday August 3 in downtown Thedford. Don’t miss out on this great event!

Friday August 1:

• Seniors Bid Euchre Night at the Village Complex, 7:30pm.
  Everyone welcome, admission is $5. Wine and cheese served after cards.
• Thedford Legion Fish Fry at Thedford Legion

Saturday August 2:

• Main Street Parade, downtown Thedford. Theme: “Olde Country Fair. Parade begins at 11:30am, registration and judging at Knox Presbyterian Church, 10:30am. Prizes for best decorated floats, cars, bikes, etc. For more information call Sue Zavi tz: 519-296-5771 or Jocelyn Zavitz: 519-296-4822.
• Thedford Warriors Co-ed 2-Pitch Tournament, Saturday and Sunday at the Thedford Arena. Register to play by calling John at 519-786-4258.
• Vintage Car Show, downtown Thedford following the parade. All classic or vintage vehicles welcome. For information call Mary Lou Glenn, 519-296-4859. Car registration $5.
• Kids Fun Zone, Thedford Arena, 12:00pm-3:00pm. Games and activities.
• Thedford Spirit Club BBQ at the Car Show
• Thedford Firemen’s Roast Beef Dinner, 4:00pm at the Village Complex.
• Country Jamboree at the Thedford Arena
• Thedford Street Dance featuring “Second Wind”, Main St. Thedford. $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12. Gates open at 8:30pm.

Sunday August 3:

• Lawnmower races at the Thedford Arena. Registration from 10:00am-12:00pm, test and tune from 1:00pm-2:00pm, racing starts at 2:00pm. Admission $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12. Call Rob at 519-296-4808 for more information.
